Your PDF is opened and completed in your browser on your device. The file and your answers are not uploaded. When the app is unsure what a box on the form is asking for, it may send only the short piece of printed text next to that box — never the file, never your answers — to a hosted language service to suggest a clearer question. If that service isn’t configured, nothing is sent at all.

The page layout is measured on your device to work out where answers belong. The document and your answers stay on your device.

Everything is local. Your PDF is never uploaded, your entries are never uploaded, your signature is never uploaded, and the completed PDF is never uploaded. No AI or image analysis is involved.

A signature you draw is stored only as the lines you drew, only for the document you are working on, and only on this device. It is never transmitted and there is no saved signature library.

A scanned or photographed form has no readable structure, so it is offered for manual filling. Automatic analysis of a scanned page image is not part of the normal app: it is only available in the team’s internal build, and if it is ever offered to you, the app asks for your permission first and tells you that a page image will be sent for analysis.

While you fill a document by hand, what you have placed — including signature lines — is saved on this device only, so an unexpected browser closure doesn’t lose your work. The PDF itself is never saved. Drafts are deleted automatically after 24 hours, when you choose “Delete Form”, and whenever you discard the recovered draft.

If you install FillIt AI to your home screen, your device caches the app’s own program files and icons so it starts quickly. Documents, answers, signatures and completed PDFs are never placed in that cache.

There is no advertising network, tracking pixel or third-party analytics platform in this beta. To see how many people reach each step, FillIt AI records a small number of anonymous counts in ClaimDutyHQ LLC’s own database (hosted on Supabase): which step happened (for example app opened, document chosen, filling started, PDF created, PDF opened or downloaded), whether the document came from a PDF or from photos, whether you filled it by hand or by answering questions, a rough page-count band, whether you are on a phone, tablet or computer, whether you installed the app, the app version, and a general category for an error.

Nothing about your document is included: never the file name, the document or image contents, the printed labels, your answers, your signature, recognised text, photo EXIF data, the document fingerprint, draft contents or any wording you typed. There are no accounts, no cookies and no advertising identifiers, so these counts are not linked to you. Technical errors may also be logged by the hosting platform to keep the service working; such logs never contain your document, your answers or your signature.

If you send feedback, only your message, the app version, your browser, whether you are on a phone or a computer, and which screen you were on are included. No document data is attached.
